Edvin Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Västerlanda's Christian Kielstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Göransson in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Simon Svartengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kurt Torsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute Orvar Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kielstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Västerlanda's Christian Kielstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Västerlanda from getting a goal against them. Orvar Göransson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Braås's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Orvar Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orvar Göransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Västerlanda's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Göransson came free, but Christian Kielstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Kielstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Göransson in the 31st minute of play. Eskil Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kurt Torsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvin Åberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Kielstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Christian Kielstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvin Åberg went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kurt Torsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eskil Ek's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Edvin Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kielstedt having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eskil Ek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simon Svartengren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Torsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Mikael Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match Vidar Almstedt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Kielstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Västerlanda's Lennart Hedin got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Braås were awarded a corner. Vidar Almstedt went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Erik Linqvist to score against Christian Kielstedt in Västerlanda's goal. 2-1 after 60 minutes. The supporters of Västerlanda booed when Braås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Åberg in the 67th minute of play forced Västerlanda's goalkeeper Christian Kielstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Torsberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Svartengren in the 68th minute. After 74 minutes, Kaj Dahlquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Västerlanda and the Braås players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Braås. Vidar Almstedt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Kielstedt. 3-1. Orvar Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Edvin Åberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 99th minute, Edvin Åberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Braås fully deserved thier win.
