Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Skånetoppen's Lars Engström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ture Kullgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Engström in the 5th minute of play. Lars Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Billström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfons Ståhlman firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Skånetoppen's Alfons Ståhlman got control of the ball when Filip Billström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Skånetoppen's Alfons Ståhlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Strömberg in the 16th minute of play. When Karl-Åke Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bredbyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Åke Högberg couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Gudmundsson got free with Alfons Ståhlman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfons Ståhlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bredbyn booed when Skånetoppen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Hake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Billström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Alfons Ståhlman made a huge save. If Lars Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Filip Billström fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bredbyn's protests and gave Filip Billström a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Lars Engström might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ture Kullgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Engström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30thth minute of the game Lars Engström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bredbyn's Ture Kullgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 minutes, Lars Engström made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bredbyn's Ture Kullgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Kullgren having to interfere. If Lars Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robin Hake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Engström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hjalmar Landin was the one to do the kick off. Lars Engström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 58th playminute. In the 62nd minute, Skånetoppen's Jan Bokelund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ture Kullgren. Ture Kullgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Bredbyn's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Engström came free, but Ture Kullgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Åke Strömberg charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Åke Strömberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Åke Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Skånetoppen getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tage Forssell hit a great ball. After 78th play minutes Lars Engström shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Ture Kullgren and just under the crossbar into goal. Lars Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bredbyn's Ture Kullgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Engström in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Bennet during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Tage Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Skånetoppen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bredbyn.
