Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Algren started the match with the kick off. Kasper Malmberg made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Jens-Åke Fredriksson sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Åke Fredriksson got free with Kasper Malmberg in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens-Åke Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Malmberg having to interfere. Filiph Algren scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Björck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kasper Malmberg. Österbybruk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Åke Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alvhem RK's Fredrik Björck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiph Algren in the 24th minute of play. Sebastian Vennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Malmberg having to interfere. Sebastian Vennerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kasper Malmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elof Sjödin fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Österbybruk's protests and gave Elof Sjödin a yellow card for diving instead. Elof Sjödin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Jens-Åke Fredriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Lund's late challenge caught a Alvhem RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Lund helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Österbybruk got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Lund. Kasper Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Palmquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Björck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiph Algren's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Filiph Algren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Algren struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Fredrik Björck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Österbybruk. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Vennerström made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jens-Åke Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvhem RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Åke Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasper Malmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Österbybruk's goalkeeper Kasper Malmberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th play minute Filiph Algren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fredrik Björck. 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, Österbybruk's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Vennerström came free, but Kasper Malmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, David Algren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fredrik Björck, 2-3. If Filiph Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filiph Algren struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Fredrik Björck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Österbybruk. In the 86th minute, Österbybruk's Magne Holmgren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Magne Holmgren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Österbybruk protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Magne Holmgren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Magne Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Österbybruk's goal looked a bit too open when August Dusett came free, but Kasper Malmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Karlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jens-Åke Fredriksson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Alvhem RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Åke Fredriksson couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Österbybruk walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
