After having played for 6 minutes, Kent Utter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glimåkra IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Utter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glimåkra IF's Kent Utter got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alf Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Magnusson in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Gustaf Olsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alf Edström, 1-1. A collision led to Glimåkra IF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ove Arvidsson hit a great ball. Karl-Michael Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Hökkvist in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Hökkvist in the 32nd minute of play forced Millwall FC's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Lindqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Kent Utter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Michael Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Edström made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gustaf Olsson sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Michael Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Utter in the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Millwall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. Millwall FC's Karl-Michael Lindqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Millwall FC from getting a goal against them. Valdemar Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
