After 17 minutes of play, Flen FK's Albert Beck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Edström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 minutes, Albert Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flen FK and the Glimåkra IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Flen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Beck to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Kent Utter notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Flen FK's Börge Delin. Börge Delin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Christian Hökkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glimåkra IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Hökkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börge Delin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Glimåkra IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Holmberg came free, but Alf Edström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hampus Nordström's late challenge caught a Flen FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hampus Nordström helped the player get up and apologised. Hampus Nordström hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Glimåkra IF's Christian Hökkvist was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Flen FK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Albert Beck hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Börge Delin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Utter, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Kent Utter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glimåkra IF's Alf Edström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Glimåkra IF from getting a goal against them. Börge Delin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Hökkvist in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Flen FK's goalkeeper Börge Delin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game Christian Hökkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flen FK's Börge Delin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Freddie Malmström fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flen FK's protests and gave Freddie Malmström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flen FK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Freddie Malmström hit a great ball. Glimåkra IF's Christian Hökkvist pulled a muscle in his leg after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Göran Asserlindh's late challenge caught a Glimåkra IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göran Asserlindh helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Flen FK got a freekick which was hit by Göran Asserlindh. Flen FK's Börge Delin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Utter in the 75th minute of play. When Kent Utter came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Glimåkra IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Utter couldn't finish the play. Flen FK's Börge Delin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Utter in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Glimåkra IF's Alf Edström got control of the ball when Sten Holmberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Flen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Utter came free, but Börge Delin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Utter struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Börge Delin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glimåkra IF. Alf Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Kellman in the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Glimåkra IF fully deserved thier win.
