Karl-Michael Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Kellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Simon Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Magnusson in the 28th minute of play forced Flen FK's goalkeeper Börge Delin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börge Delin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Michael Lindqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sten Holmberg in the 34th minute. Börge Delin came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Millwall FC's Gustaf Olsson. But to his dismay, Gustaf Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vilgot Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Karl-Michael Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Kellman in the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Viggo Kellman made the kick off in the second half. If Simon Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Börge Delin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gustaf Olsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 60thth minute of the game Simon Magnusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flen FK's Börge Delin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustaf Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Delin having to interfere. Simon Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Börge Delin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Claes Broberg fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flen FK's protests and gave Claes Broberg a yellow card for diving instead. Niklas Modig charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niklas Modig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The shot was a little too simple and Börge Delin could save by the left post. Flen FK's Claes Broberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Claes Broberg off the ground. After a rather tough play, Flen FK's Claes Broberg got a free kick in the 86th minute. Flen FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Simon Magnusson 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After 95 played minutes Millwall FC got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Modig. 96 minutes into the game, Albert Beck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flen FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millwall FC the free kick. After 96 played minutes Flen FK got a freekick which was hit by Albert Beck. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Millwall FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
