Adrian Hök tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Viklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertil Skog's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Åstorp's Adrian Hök got control of the ball when Aron Sikström tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Filip Cane fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åstorp's protests and gave Filip Cane a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Cane hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Jan Viklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Herbert Allbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Hök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Nyberg in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Fröseke BK's Aron Sikström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Hök narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Christer Petersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åstorp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fröseke BK the free kick. After having played for 31 minutes, Emil Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fröseke BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bertil Skog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Åstorp's Alf Holmberg got a free kick in the 39th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Nyberg to make the kick off. Marcus Grönberg kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Åstorp's Bertil Skog ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Viklund. Jan Viklund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Marcus Grönberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Åstorp getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Filip Cane hit a great ball. When Emil Nyberg came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Fröseke BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Nyberg couldn't finish the play. When Fröseke BK's Aron Sikström in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åstorp's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th minute of the match, Bertil Skog tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Viklund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Nyqvist got free with Jan Viklund in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Fröseke BK's Emil Nyberg in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åstorp's goalie prevented a goal. After 89 minutes, Marcus Grönberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fröseke BK and the Åstorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fröseke BK's Marcus Grönberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Åstorp supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Åstorp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
