Yngve Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Forss in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Bunkeflostrand FK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Edmund Billberg hit a great ball. In the 10th minute David Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Böcklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ola Hjeltman in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elliott Böcklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Johan Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Yngve Stenström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven-Ove Bergdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Sundström scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elliott Böcklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Bergdal in the 36th minute of play forced Veinge BK's goalkeeper Yngve Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliott Böcklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Lind in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bunkeflostrand FK's Alf Karlberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lars Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Elliott Böcklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veinge BK.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Ove Bergdal to make the kick off. Elliott Böcklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Veinge BK booed when Bunkeflostrand FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Karlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ola Hjeltman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Böcklund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Hjeltman in the 59th minute of play forced Bunkeflostrand FK's goalkeeper Elliott Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Billberg's late challenge caught a Veinge BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Billberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Bunkeflostrand FK got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Billberg. In the 61st minute Ola Hjeltman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Böcklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Ove Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bunkeflostrand FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ola Hjeltman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 81stth minute of the game Ola Hjeltman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bunkeflostrand FK's Elliott Böcklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bunkeflostrand FK's goalkeeper Elliott Böcklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Hjeltman in the 92nd minute of play forced Bunkeflostrand FK's goalkeeper Elliott Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ola Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pelle Smed made a great header on Veinge BK's corner, it was just that Bunkeflostrand FK's Elliott Böcklund managed to reach the ball for a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bunkeflostrand FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Veinge BK.
