Alf Askestät didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sävedalen. In the 11th match minute, Vallberga BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Emander to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sävedalen booed when Vallberga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Rudkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Sävedalen's protests and gave Rune Billock a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Sävedalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Billock to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Sävedalen's Kim Albohm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Askestät made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 95 minutes of play, Sävedalen's Rune Billock made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Askestät was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sävedalen fully deserved thier win.
