An unexpectedly hard shot by Joacim Fredriksson in the 3rd minute of play forced Backe BK's goalkeeper Edgar Vollander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Backe BK's Edgar Vollander got control of the ball when Lennart Rudkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Backe BK's Claes Persson got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Kent Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Vallberga BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Haglund couldn't finish the play. Kent Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Edgar Vollander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Backe BK got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Nordin. Simon Blomqvist struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Alf Askestät didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Backe BK. Simon Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alf Askestät tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Backe BK's Simon Blomqvist in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vallberga BK's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Håning during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Johan Håning hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Malcolm Gullesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Kent Haglund made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Lennart Rudkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallberga BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Rudkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lennart Rudkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Vollander having to make a save. Kent Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edgar Vollander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lennart Rudkvist came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Vallberga BK fans jumped to their feet. Simon Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Backe BK's zone, Lennart Rudkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Vollander came out of the goal and Lennart Rudkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edgar Vollander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henric Finsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henric Finsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Backe BK booed when Vallberga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Finsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kent Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Vallberga BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Haglund couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Lennart Rudkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Vollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Vollander came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Vallberga BK's Kent Haglund. But to his dismay, Kent Haglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vallberga BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
