In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vetlanda's goalkeeper Hubert Johnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Åke Säf in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joacim Örtlund saved Ljungbyhed IK from getting behind. Ljungbyhed IK's Jimmie Nordgren got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Lindström in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hubert Johnsson saved Vetlanda from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Lindström in the 20th minute of play forced Vetlanda's goalkeeper Hubert Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmie Nordgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ture Hamnberg hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vetlanda's Rikard Hernström tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ljungbyhed IK's Joacim Örtlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Ljungbyhed IK from getting a goal against them. Hubert Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Hamnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Åke Säf got free with Joacim Örtlund in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
