The supporters of Simlångsdalen booed when Vrångö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Tillman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Vilhelm Nordlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Måns Vennerlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Kämpe in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, Hans Pettersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig-Ove Wester was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Vrångö's Måns Vennerlund got control of the ball when Malte Kämpe tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Simlångsdalen's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Damm came free, but Stig-Ove Wester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Måns Vennerlund made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Malte Kämpe sent off a good shot on target. Hans Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konrad Damm struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Stig-Ove Wester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vrångö. Sven Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Vrångö's Ronny Tillman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Ove Wester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven Gustavsson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sven Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Vrångö got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Abelsson. With a little luck, Simlångsdalen's Stig-Ove Wester got control of the ball when Hans Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hans Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Wester having to interfere. Måns Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Stig-Ove Wester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Damm in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Gustavsson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Måns Vennerlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vrångö's Konrad Damm was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Simlångsdalen's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Wester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Pettersson. In the 91stth minute of the game Konrad Damm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simlångsdalen's Stig-Ove Wester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hans Petterssons short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Stig-Ove Wester to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Vrångö players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
