Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dick Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Björnberg having to interfere. Thor Björnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torsten Nordkvist went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Dick Säf fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svenljunga's protests and gave Dick Säf a yellow card for diving instead. Dick Säf kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Kent Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djurgårdens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes Svenljunga got a freekick which was hit by Tom Sikström. After having played for 26 minutes, Torsten Nordkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svenljunga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Nordkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Djurgårdens IF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Karl-Ove Fagerberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Djurgårdens IF's zone, Dick Säf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Björnberg came out of the goal and Dick Säf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thor Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Nordkvist in the 32nd minute of play. Dick Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Torsten Nordkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svenljunga's supporters rose to their feet, but Torsten Nordkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Björnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inge Hedman charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inge Hedman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Inge Hedman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Kent Holmgren notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Svenljunga's Leonardo Danielsson. Leonardo Danielsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torsten Nordkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dick Säf took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thor Björnberg. Thor Björnberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Torsten Nordkvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Thor Björnberg to make any attempt to save it. Leonardo Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Grelsson in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torsten Nordkvist in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Björnberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolf Lidström hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Dick Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Peder Grelsson made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Danielsson. Svenljunga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Peder Grelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kent Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dick Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
