Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Anselius came free, but Sebastian Löfgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Karungi BF's zone, Ulrik Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ola Grubb came out of the goal and Ulrik Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Löfgren made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tord Billvall sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Karungi BF's Conny Månsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 28thth minute of the game Björn Anselius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mellbystrand's Sebastian Löfgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conny Månsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Mattias Hake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Björn Anselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Löfgren made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Tord Billvall sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Björn Anselius to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Björn Anselius in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Löfgren saved Mellbystrand from getting behind. Björn Anselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sebastian Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mellbystrand's Ulrik Berggren got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Björn Forss shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Löfgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mellbystrand's Sebastian Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Anselius in the 63rd minute of play. Sebastian Löfgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Anselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Mattias Hake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mellbystrand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karungi BF the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mellbystrand fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Tord Billvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Löfgren having to interfere. Mellbystrand's Sebastian Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Anselius in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tord Billvall in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Löfgren saved Mellbystrand from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Anselius in the 91st minute of play forced Mellbystrand's goalkeeper Sebastian Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Björn Anselius in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Löfgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karungi BF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
