Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Åke Sandberg kicked off to start the match. When Åke Sandberg fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silverdalen IF's protests and gave Åke Sandberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Silverdalen IF getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Åke Sandberg hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Sandberg in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egon Bredberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joachim Kellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Lewes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Sandberg came free, but Egon Bredberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Kellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrik Falck's late challenge caught a Lewes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Falck helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Silverdalen IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Falck. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Sandberg in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egon Bredberg saved Lewes FC from getting behind. Lewes FC's Egon Bredberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Kellberg in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Salqvist in the 32nd minute of play forced Silverdalen IF's goalkeeper Evert Bern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Åke Sandberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magnus Salqvist made a kick off. Henrik Falck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Egon Bredberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrik Falck slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Sandberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Lewes FC's goalkeeper Egon Bredberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Egon Bredberg made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Joachim Kellberg sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Groth in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evert Bern prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lewes FC's zone, Åke Sandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Bredberg came out of the goal and Åke Sandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Åke Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Bredberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Åke Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Bredberg was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magnus Salqvist in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Bern saved Silverdalen IF from getting behind. Joachim Kellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Egon Bredberg made a huge save. Silverdalen IF played a much better game than Lewes FC and deserved their victory. The Lewes FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
