Ursviken's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Åke Sandberg scored to the left of an out of position Pål Berglund, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joachim Kellberg got free with Pål Berglund in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, one of Silverdalen IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ursviken a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ted Wahlström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Silverdalen IF's Evert Bern. 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, Joachim Kellberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Berglund. Ursviken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joachim Kellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a little luck, Ursviken's Pål Berglund got control of the ball when Joachim Kellberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åke Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ralf Helström to strike the kick off in the second half. Ingemar Adelsköld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Evert Bern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joachim Kellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Silverdalen IF's Ted Eliasson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Evert Bern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Claes Alström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match Ted Wahlström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evert Bern skillfully saved the ball. In the 74th minute, Silverdalen IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ralf Helström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ted Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Pål Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Berglund having to interfere. If Ted Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Åke Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pål Berglund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Åke Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Ursviken's zone, Joachim Kellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Berglund came out of the goal and Joachim Kellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pelle Olofsson was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Ursviken's Pelle Olofsson got a free kick in the 99th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Silverdalen IF had won after a very even match.
