Brian Vestlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Adrian Ståhlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Wållander. Staveström BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Ståhlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Christer Brenner came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Stenungsund RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Brenner couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Torsten Wållander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 32 minutes into the match, Allan Nord notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Stenungsund RK's Fred Wallmark. Fred Wallmark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Walter Kollberg charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Kollberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Staveström BK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Walter Kollberg hit a great ball. Torsten Wållander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christer Brenner's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Christer Brenner struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Torsten Wållander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stenungsund RK. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Christer Brenner made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Allan Nord rounded Stenungsund RK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Christer Brenner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 minutes of play Staveström BK's Walter Kollberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 57th match minute, Staveström BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Kollberg to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Stenquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fred Wallmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Staveström BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Örn to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Wållander didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stenungsund RK's Christer Brenner shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute.
