The supporters of Trelleborg IF booed when Ramkvilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Douglas Liljeström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trelleborg IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Liljeström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Trelleborg IF's Gustaf Dalström got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Trelleborg IF defense, Bertil Persson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Runeberg. The Trelleborg IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Runeberg should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Ramkvilla's goalkeeper August Nordin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Liljeström. A collision led to Ramkvilla getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gösta Termander hit a great ball. August Nordin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gustaf Dahlkvist. In the 25th minute of the match, Adrian Vinström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but August Nordin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 27 played minutes Ramkvilla got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Termander. Gustaf Dahlkvist, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Trelleborg IF's Douglas Liljeström made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Nordin was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Trelleborg IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Douglas Liljeström hit a great ball. Ramkvilla's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adrian Vinström 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Adrian Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Nordin having to interfere. If Douglas Liljeström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Trelleborg IF got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Dalström. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bengt Klementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Runeberg having to interfere. Trelleborg IF's Adrian Vinström got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Trelleborg IF got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Stephansson. August Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Bengt Klementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Adrian Vinström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Nordin was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Bertil Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Vinström in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Nordin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Trelleborg IF were the better team. Trelleborg IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
