Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes, Holmön IF's Karl-Magnus Wallander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Holmön IF reached it. In the 5thth minute of the game Bengt-Arne Nilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eldsberga's Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Nilsson in the 8th minute of play forced Eldsberga's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Vestlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Konrad Lövskog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Eldsberga booed when Holmön IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Palm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Eldsberga's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Nilsson came free, but Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eldsberga's Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Bergman in the 29th minute of play. Johan Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Nilsson in the 36th minute of the match. If Bengt-Arne Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eldsberga's Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Bergman in the 41st minute of play. Johan Palm charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johan Palm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Holmön IF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Johan Palm hit a great ball. Rolf Drewitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bengt-Arne Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Holmön IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Nilsson couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tom Bergman to make the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eldsberga's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henning Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Bengt-Arne Nilsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson however easily saved by the left post. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bengt-Arne Nilsson sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Sivert Vestlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konrad Lövskog was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. When Freddie Bredberg fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holmön IF's protests and gave Freddie Bredberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Holmön IF's Freddie Bredberg got a free kick in the 63rd minute.
