Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thor Henriksson got the match started through his kick off. Thor Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Karl-Michael Lindkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thor Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Lindkvist having to interfere. Karl-Michael Lindkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Walmarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Henriksson in the 10th minute of play forced Skänninge FC's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Lindkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Näver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Johnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Thor Henriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Michael Lindkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. David Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Näver, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Börje Walmarsson took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Michael Lindkvist. Karl-Michael Lindkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Knoxville Knockers's goalkeeper David Johnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Göransson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Henriksson in the 34th minute of play forced Skänninge FC's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Lindkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Skänninge FC got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Arenberg. After having played for 36 minutes, Thor Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knoxville Knockers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thor Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Skänninge FC's Gustaf Caspersson got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Skänninge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Nordal to maneuver through the defense. Knoxville Knockers's Frank Hult couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Skänninge FC. The Skänninge FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Knoxville Knockers were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Allan Näver made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Karl-Michael Lindkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Knoxville Knockers's Manfred Wallin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jens-Ove Arenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes in the game, Thor Henriksson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karl-Michael Lindkvist having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Skänninge FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Sjödin. Karl-Michael Lindkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Börje Walmarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knoxville Knockers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Skänninge FC's Edmund Göransson got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Skänninge FC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Näver. Karl-Michael Lindkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Walmarsson in the 78th minute. Skänninge FC's Karl-Michael Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Henriksson in the 79th minute of play. Karl-Michael Lindkvist was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Thor Henriksson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thor Henriksson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. If Börje Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Arenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skänninge FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knoxville Knockers the free kick. 88 minutes into the match, Skänninge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Henriksson came free, but Karl-Michael Lindkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Skänninge FC's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Lindkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börje Walmarsson. In the 92nd minute Thor Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Michael Lindkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Johnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allan Näver went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Skänninge FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Knoxville Knockers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
