Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Löberöd's Bo-Erik Svanberg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Dennis Rosendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Löberöd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Rosendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birger Alin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Hjortberg in the 11th minute. Kristian Källberg struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Holger Gunnarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Löberöd. Holger Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Källberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute of the match, Hans Andersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Birger Alin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pär Runberg charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pär Runberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hans Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Alin having to interfere. Hans Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Birger Alin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, one of Löberöd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Löberöd. Bo-Erik Rydelius shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The Rydaholm IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Löberöd were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dennis Rosendahl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan Löfgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bernt Tunström fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rydaholm IF's protests and gave Bernt Tunström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rydaholm IF's Bernt Tunström got a free kick in the 57th minute. Birger Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Hjortberg in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Löberöd defense, Hans Andersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birger Alin. The Löberöd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birger Alin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rydaholm IF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bo-Erik Rydelius hit a great ball. Jakob Julin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Hans Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Alin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Ove Söderqwist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Birger Alin. Löberöd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Löberöd's goalkeeper Birger Alin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dennis Rosendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Roland Hjortberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Birger Alin. Löberöd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Hjortberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
