Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hans Andersson started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sumpans Slaktare's goalkeeper Gustaf Mikaelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Rydaholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Hellkvist came free, but Holger Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rydaholm IF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Karl-Michael Lundqvist hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Harald Boman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Gunnarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sumpans Slaktare's Harald Boman got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Boman in the 14th minute of play forced Rydaholm IF's goalkeeper Holger Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Boman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Harald Boman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Holger Gunnarsson. Rydaholm IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harald Boman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rydaholm IF's goalkeeper Holger Gunnarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Åhman during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sumpans Slaktare fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Gustaf Mikaelsson, was totally fooled by Rydaholm IF's Bo-Erik Rydelius, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sumpans Slaktare's Ove Hellkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Boman in the 32nd minute of play forced Rydaholm IF's goalkeeper Holger Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Hellkvist in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Gunnarsson saved Rydaholm IF from getting behind. In the 40th minute Mattias Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harald Boman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Gunnarsson having to interfere. Ove Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Holger Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Harald Boman made a precise shot to the right of Holger Gunnarsson. Rydaholm IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sumpans Slaktare! With a little luck, Rydaholm IF's Holger Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Ove Hellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rydaholm IF's goalkeeper Holger Gunnarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gustaf Mikaelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Hjortberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Boman in the 73rd minute of play forced Rydaholm IF's goalkeeper Holger Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Karl-Ove Söderqwist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Boman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Gunnarsson having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Ove Hellkvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Harald Boman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Holger Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Rasmus Tidéksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rydaholm IF and the Sumpans Slaktare players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Roland Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sumpans Slaktare eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
