Folke Billström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Johansson in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Slagnäs's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Wikander came free, but Marcus Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Johansson made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Sigman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Wennerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Christer Dahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Sigman having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Christer Dahlman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcus Sigman. That made the score 0-1 in the 62 minute of play. In the 66th minute Daniel Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Billström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Sigman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Dahlman in the 67th minute of the match. Slagnäs's Marcus Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Dahlman in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Ekman during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Billström having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bräcke BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
