Karlstad's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sven-Arne Tolsson 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Henning Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Sven-Arne Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Månsson having to interfere. When Karlstad's Karl Mellbad in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carl Eliasson to strike the kick off in the second half. Niklas Billing made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Karl Mellbad sent off a good shot on target. Niklas Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Eliasson in the 54th minute of the match. Niklas Billing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Södermanlands IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Karl Mellbad 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Sven-Arne Tolsson struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Henning Månsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södermanlands IF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Eliasson in the 92nd minute of play forced Södermanlands IF's goalkeeper Niklas Billing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Carl Eliasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Karlstad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Södermanlands IF throughout the match.
