The tension between the Band Of Brothers and the Sundborn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hubert Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Hubert Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When August Bållström fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Band Of Brothers's protests and gave August Bållström a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Band Of Brothers got a freekick which was hit by August Bållström. Johnny Bergendahl, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Hubert Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Nilsson having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Johnny Bergendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Göran Walroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Nilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Band Of Brothers's Carl Jonasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Band Of Brothers from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the game, Sundborn's Jens Rolfsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Jonasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Jens Rolfsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Jonasson. Band Of Brothers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens Rolfsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Carl Jonasson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Harry Wallin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Fristedt in the 37th minute of play forced Band Of Brothers's goalkeeper Carl Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Bo-Erik Fristedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sundborn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bo-Erik Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundborn's goalkeeper Gunnar Nilsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute, Bo-Erik Fristedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo-Erik Fristedt in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Jonasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bo-Erik Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Nordström charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Nordström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Band Of Brothers booed when Sundborn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sundborn's Gunnar Nilsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn from getting a goal against them. After having played for 75 minutes, Hubert Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Band Of Brothers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Holm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göran Walroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Band Of Brothers booed when Sundborn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Walroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gunnar Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Jonasson having to interfere.
