Adrian Källberg charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Källberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kuggavik BK booed when Betongen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Källberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patric Lindqvist in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erik Åkesson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erik Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Söder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Lars Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuggavik BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Söder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patric Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Peter Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Lars Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuggavik BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Söder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Åkesson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Söder's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Conny Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Patric Lindqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Åkesson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Söder to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patric Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Lars Söder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Betongen FC's Erik Åkesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Betongen FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Klas Bogren hit a great ball. Peter Pettersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betongen FC's Erik Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Pettersson in the 69th minute of play. Patric Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Erik Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Peter Pettersson came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Kuggavik BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Pettersson couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Patric Lindqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Erik Åkesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute Peter Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
