The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sakarias Svanér managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tandsbyn IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sakarias Svanér was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Hafström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rikard Alén kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Jörgen Ahlstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tandsbyn IK and the Lundsbrunn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anton Ekblom was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Robert Moberg. 33 minutes into the match, Lundsbrunn's Orvar Hjälm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Ekblom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Sakarias Svanér shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tandsbyn IK booed when Lundsbrunn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Forssberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivar Hafström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Sundberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play Tandsbyn IK's Jörgen Ahlstedt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jörgen Ahlstedt hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Lundsbrunn's Orvar Hjälm in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Tandsbyn IK defense, Mark Sundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Ekblom. The Tandsbyn IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Ekblom should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Tandsbyn IK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Benjamin Ljungberg hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Rikard Alén sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Ekblom skillfully saved the ball.
