Elliot Ekenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wictor Jonsson in the 3rd minute. Rasmus Bjursell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gustav Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Ekenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Lundström in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Aplared IF booed when Vansbro BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Lidberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustav Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Bjursell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rasmus Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vansbro BK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fritz Lidberg hit a great ball. The supporters of Vansbro BK booed when Aplared IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Wiklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Vansbro BK's goalkeeper Elliot Ekenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wictor Jonsson. A collision led to Vansbro BK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Christer Hagström hit a great ball. Vansbro BK's Elliot Ekenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Vansbro BK from getting a goal against them. When Daniel Klack came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Aplared IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Klack couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Klack to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 53rd minute of the match Jakob Wiklund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jakob Wiklund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 54 played minutes Aplared IF got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Wiklund. Wictor Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Elliot Ekenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aplared IF. In the 64th minute of the match Billy Pilgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elliot Ekenberg skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Aplared IF's Daniel Klack got a free kick in the 69th minute. Dennis Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gustav Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustav Persson made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Rasmus Bjursell sent off a good shot on target. Gustav Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Bjursell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Rasmus Bjursell notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Aplared IF's Gustav Persson. Gustav Persson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wictor Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Elliot Ekenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Fritz Lidberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vansbro BK's zone, Wictor Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Ekenberg came out of the goal and Wictor Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Vansbro BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aplared IF throughout the match.
