Mikael Alstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Forsberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Winström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Forsberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club America's goalkeeper Mikael Alstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Edgar Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club America's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Forsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes in the game, Johannes Lindqvist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Walter Winström having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anders Lindsten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walter Winström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Lindqvist in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Edgar Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Winström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Dals Rostock BF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Lindqvist came free, but Walter Winström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Mikael Alstedt made a huge save. Björn Janssons short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Mikael Alstedt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgar Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Winström having to interfere. Dals Rostock BF's Walter Winström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Forsberg in the 77th minute of play. Johannes Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikael Alstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Anders Lindsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mikael Alstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Kilström during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
