The supporters of Gysinge IFK booed when Svenshögen RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Carl Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Pedersson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Erik Kollberg came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Svenshögen RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Kollberg couldn't finish the play. Elliott Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Torgny Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svenshögen RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Kilman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Eklund was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Carl Eklund hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torgny Kilman got free with Niclas Danielsson in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reine Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Thomas Klementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torgny Kilman struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Niclas Danielsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svenshögen RK. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reine Ekström was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Torgny Kilman made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gysinge IFK's Niclas Danielsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute Torgny Kilman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Torgny Kilman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niclas Danielsson was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Svenshögen RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Kilman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd match minute, Gysinge IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Grönberg to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Kilman took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niclas Danielsson. Niclas Danielsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Erik Kollberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niclas Danielsson was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Jarl Grönberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Gysinge IFK's Reine Ekström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thomas Klementsson. Thomas Klementsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Svenshögen RK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gysinge IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
