Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Johannes Lund made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Askersund booed when Storvik IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Svanström in the 5th minute of play forced Storvik IF's goalkeeper Niklas Gabrielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Storvik IF's Joel Kjellman got a free kick in the 6th minute. Niklas Gabrielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Sandwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Niklas Lägdin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised George Duset 11 minutes into the match. Niklas Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Alén in the 15th minute of play. Storvik IF's Niklas Gabrielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Sandwall in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Johannes Lund made a precise shot to the right of Niklas Gabrielsson. Storvik IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Lennart Adelsköld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but George Duset made a huge save. When Östen Alén fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Askersund's protests and gave Östen Alén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Askersund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Alén to maneuver through the defense. Askersund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when August Mellberg scored to the left of an out of position George Duset, making the score, 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Storvik IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Lund came free, but Niklas Gabrielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Storvik IF got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Adelsköld. August Mellberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes of play, Askersund's Birger Sandwall made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niklas Gabrielsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niklas Gabrielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Sandwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Niklas Lägdin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Adelsköld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Storvik IF's Niklas Gabrielsson got control of the ball when Birger Sandwall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niklas Gabrielsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Johannes Lund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 64 minute of play. After 67 played minutes Askersund got a freekick which was hit by Inge Kjellqvist. George Duset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklas Lägdin's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Niklas Gabrielsson made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Birger Sandwall sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Alén got free with Niklas Gabrielsson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Storvik IF's goalkeeper Niklas Gabrielsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Sandwall. After 76 played minutes Askersund got a freekick which was hit by Roger Bratt. 79 minutes into the match, Storvik IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Lund came free, but Niklas Gabrielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Emanuel Kaxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Storvik IF's Emanuel Kaxe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuel Kaxe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Storvik IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuel Kaxe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Storvik IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Askersund:s goal. Niklas Gabrielsson made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Birger Sandwall sent off a good shot on target. Niklas Gabrielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Storvik IF's Joel Kjellman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Duset made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Birger Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Gabrielsson having to interfere.
