Per-Oskar Sjöö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Askersund. In the 8th minute, Eddie Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Lund hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tollered booed when Askersund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Kjellqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Askersund got a freekick which was hit by Östen Alén. In the 16th minute Fredric Browall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22ndth minute of the game Johannes Lund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tollered's Per-Oskar Sjöö was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Birger Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tollered's Kristian Arenstedt got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 26 played minutes Askersund got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Lund. Per-Oskar Sjöö made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Birger Sandwall sent off a good shot on target. Erik Björnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Erik Björnberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tollered fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Tollered's Per-Oskar Sjöö got control of the ball when Birger Sandwall tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Birger Sandwall notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tollered's Per-Oskar Sjöö. Per-Oskar Sjöö was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Johannes Lund made the kick off in the second half. Fredric Browall in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of George Duset, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Erik Björnberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Duset was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Tollered's Per-Oskar Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Lund in the 64th minute of play. Erik Björnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Duset having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Askersund's goalkeeper George Duset had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredric Browall. After a rather tough play, Askersund's Fredrik Svanström got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Erik Björnberg succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 83rd match minute, Askersund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inge Kjellqvist to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Tollered's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Sandwall came free, but Per-Oskar Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tollered getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rune Kilstedt hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tollered eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
