Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Vollsjö IFK booed when Sjulsmark IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidar Ekenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carl Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Ingvall in the 17th minute of play. Dan Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Carl Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Harald Bure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, one of Vollsjö IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dan Pilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sjulsmark IF defense, Harald Bure kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per Gustavsson. The Sjulsmark IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per Gustavsson should have stopped the shot.

Dan Pilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Ahlquist having to interfere. Carl Ahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joacim Ingvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Utfal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Håkan Hjeltman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sjulsmark IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Hjeltman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 played minutes Vollsjö IFK got a freekick which was hit by Max Gustafsson. Dan Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Carl Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Joacim Ingvall recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carl Ahlquist. Joacim Ingvall showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Max Gustafsson fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vollsjö IFK's protests and gave Max Gustafsson a yellow card for diving instead. Karl-Oskar Åberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carl Ahlquist. Vollsjö IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Jan-Åke Brenner, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Per Gustavsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vidar Ekenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Pilberg got free with Carl Ahlquist in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
