The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Andersson got free with Patrik Berglund in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrik Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Nässén, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute of the match, Frans Nässén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrik Berglund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Futbolistas de Påarp getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Carlsson hit a great ball. Hannes Sundén was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Frans Nässén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johannes Blom might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvar Almqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Blom ran back to his position shaking his head. Per Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alvar Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Kjell Eriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abborrträsk and the Futbolistas de Påarp players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Abborrträsk getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kjell Eriksson hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Engström made a kick off. Thomas Sundström's late challenge caught a Abborrträsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Sundström helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Futbolistas de Påarp:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Abborrträsk:s goal. Patrik Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Nässén in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Per Engström made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Abborrträsk's Alvar Almqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Östen Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Futbolistas de Påarp booed when Abborrträsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Futbolistas de Påarp supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Futbolistas de Påarp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
