After some careless play in the Utö IFK defense, Zebastian Eriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Kjellbom. The Utö IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Kjellbom should have stopped the shot. If Zebastian Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Kjellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Philip Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utö IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Gustavsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Stenman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Olov Persson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Stenman. Ljusterö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Persson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Persson got free with Johannes Stenman in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, Måns Löfgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljusterö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Utö IFK the free kick. Måns Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Johannes Stenman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Johannes Stenman made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Olov Persson sent off a good shot on target. Olov Persson scored 3-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johannes Stenman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philip Gustavsson was the one to do the kick off. Zebastian Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Alefors in the 61st minute of play forced Utö IFK's goalkeeper Kurt Kjellbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Kjellbom having to interfere. Johannes Stenman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ljusterö's Måns Löfgren got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Måns Löfgren off the ground. In the 67th match minute, Ljusterö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. When Olov Persson came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Utö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Persson couldn't finish the play. When Zebastian Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ljusterö fans jumped to their feet. Linus Utfal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torbjörn Friberger kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Utö IFK could leave the field as winners, despite Ljusterö having more of the ball for most of the match.
