Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alf Lindgren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes, Sten Wennerquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lallersteths Praeputium and the Spurs IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Sten Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Harman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Erik Hägglund in the 6th minute. Thomas Bredberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eddie Harman came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomas Bredberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Alf Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lallersteths Praeputium's Evert Dahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes of play, Lallersteths Praeputium's Evert Dahlberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörgen Ålberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th match minute, Spurs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Hägglund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Dahlberg in the 41st minute of play forced Spurs IF's goalkeeper Jörgen Ålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lallersteths Praeputium's zone, Sven-Erik Hägglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Harman came out of the goal and Sven-Erik Hägglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Bredberg in the 46th minute of play forced Lallersteths Praeputium's goalkeeper Eddie Harman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Lallersteths Praeputium's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Bredberg came free, but Eddie Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Bredberg to strike the kick off in the second half. If Thomas Bredberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esbjörn Sandberg's late challenge caught a Lallersteths Praeputium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Sandberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Spurs IF got a freekick which was hit by Esbjörn Sandberg. Evert Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Ålberg having to interfere. Alf Lindgren struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jörgen Ålberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lallersteths Praeputium. In the 66th minute, one of Spurs IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Spurs IF. A collision led to Lallersteths Praeputium getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Daniel Ståhlberg hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Thomas Bredberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spurs IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lallersteths Praeputium the free kick. After 73 played minutes Spurs IF got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Bredberg. If Evert Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jonatan Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spurs IF's protests and gave Jonatan Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. Jonatan Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Alf Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Esbjörn Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spurs IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esbjörn Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Lallersteths Praeputium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lallersteths Praeputium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
