Gullholmen IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hovås IK the free kick. The supporters of Hovås IK booed when Gullholmen IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hovås IK's Konrad Kinell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Persson in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gullholmen IFK's zone, Adrian Bruse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Nilsson came out of the goal and Adrian Bruse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Löv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Henning Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Hovås IK's Anders Viklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Nilsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mikael Löv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harald Molander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anders Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Molander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Molander in the 56th minute of play forced Gullholmen IFK's goalkeeper Henning Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Viklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henning Nilsson having to make a save. Harald Molander struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Henning Nilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hovås IK. In the 63rdth minute of the game Harald Molander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gullholmen IFK's Henning Nilsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Malcolm Löfgren's late challenge caught a Hovås IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Löfgren helped the player get up and apologised. Anders Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hovås IK's goalkeeper Konrad Kinell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anders Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Mikael Löv got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match, Holger Walroth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Konrad Kinell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hovås IK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
