The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Adrian Bruse put in a rough tackle. After 7 minutes Hovås IK's goalkeeper Konrad Kinell managed, with a little bit of luck, save Erland Vennerström's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Lodowe zarbs's Erland Vennerström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Konrad Kinell. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Martin Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konrad Kinell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Hasselqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th match minute, Lodowe zarbs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Rolfsson to maneuver through the defense. Harald Molander took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Kollberg. Aaron Kollberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mikael Löv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hovås IK's Harald Molander got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lodowe zarbs's Aaron Kollberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Wenerdahl in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harald Molander in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Kollberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Konrad Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Hasselqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Wenerdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Aaron Kollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Edmund Wenerdahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Kollberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Aaron Kollberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Wenerdahl in the 34th minute of play. Aaron Kollberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Molander in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Hovås IK were awarded a corner. Adrian Bruse went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Hovås IK's Karl Nordlund got a free kick in the 37th minute. After the first half Hovås IK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Harald Molander made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hovås IK's Edmund Wenerdahl got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Samuelsson in the 56th minute of play forced Hovås IK's goalkeeper Konrad Kinell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Harald Molander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Kollberg was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. If Edmund Wenerdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Kinell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Hasselqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Edmund Wenerdahl hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Per-Erik Hasselqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Kinell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Per-Erik Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Kollberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Wenerdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Lodowe zarbs's Per-Erik Hasselqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konrad Kinell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lodowe zarbs's zone, Edmund Wenerdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Kollberg came out of the goal and Edmund Wenerdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Wenerdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Per-Erik Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hovås IK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
