Holger Walroth started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Villiam Liljeström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Henning Nilsson. Gullholmen IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fritsla RK the free kick. After 13 played minutes Gullholmen IFK got a freekick which was hit by Anders Klint. After having played for 15 minutes, Ola Qvalfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fritsla RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Qvalfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jon Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Löfgren hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ola Qvalfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Qvalfeldt in the 30th minute of play forced Gullholmen IFK's goalkeeper Henning Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Nilsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Villiam Liljeström's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Ola Qvalfeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Nilsson. Gullholmen IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ola Qvalfeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Villiam Liljeström in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Nilsson saved Gullholmen IFK from getting behind. Ola Qvalfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Åke Täman kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Gullholmen IFK's Anders Klint in action when he in the 48th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Villiam Liljeström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Henning Nilsson made a huge save. In the 56th minute Villiam Liljeström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Nilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Jon Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malcolm Löfgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Gullholmen IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Gullholmen IFK's Henning Nilsson got control of the ball when Ola Qvalfeldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ola Qvalfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gullholmen IFK's Henning Nilsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Gullholmen IFK from getting a goal against them. Ola Qvalfeldt in the 98thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henning Nilsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fritsla RK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
