In the 19th minute Ian Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Siggman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liden's Lars-Erik Siggman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Nyström in the 20th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariefred RK's goalkeeper Johnny Håning, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Per-Oskar Örtendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Johnny Håning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liden were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mariefred RK for a fine match.
