Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Benestad FC's Benjamin Tomasson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Vilhelm Strömbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lillåns FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Strömbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Odin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vilhelm Strömbom took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Holger Odin. Holger Odin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Benestad FC's Jakob Österlund in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lillåns FK's goalie prevented a goal. Vilhelm Strömbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Odin having to interfere. Douglas Walmarsson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Holger Odin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lillåns FK. In the 28th match minute, Lillåns FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Sigman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Joakim Bäckman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Holger Odin skillfully saved the ball. In the 43rd minute Douglas Walmarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Arne Stenquist's late challenge caught a Lillåns FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Arne Stenquist helped the player get up and apologised. Vilhelm Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Holger Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Stig Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Walmarsson made a kick off. Holger Odin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Walmarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Benjamin Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Walmarsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Holger Odin came out and tried to block the shot, but Douglas Walmarsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 57th minute. Lillåns FK's Bojan Hojan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Österlund in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Benestad FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gottfrid Hellbom hit a great ball. The Benestad FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lillåns FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Lillåns FK.
