Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lillåns FK's Douglas Walmarsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vilhelm Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Torsten Larsfält tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Vilhelm Strömbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lillåns FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Vilhelm Strömbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Walmarsson in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Larsfält prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dick Skark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Bojan Hojan made a huge save. Torsten Larsfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Walmarsson in the 29th minute of play. After 33 minutes, Stig Törnkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lillåns FK and the Claret Blue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lillåns FK's Stig Törnkvist got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Bojan Hojan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Skark in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Christian Ekrot had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Torgny Wallmark's late challenge caught a Claret Blue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torgny Wallmark helped the player get up and apologised. Dick Skark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bojan Hojan having to interfere. Claret Blue FC's Dick Skark got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45thth minute of the game Vilhelm Strömbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Claret Blue FC's Torsten Larsfält was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torsten Larsfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Walmarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lillåns FK getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Douglas Walmarsson hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dick Skark to make the kick off. With a little luck, Claret Blue FC's Torsten Larsfält got control of the ball when Vilhelm Strömbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilhelm Strömbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torsten Larsfält read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Claret Blue FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Gustafsson. When Lillåns FK's Douglas Walmarsson in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Claret Blue FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vilhelm Strömbom took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Larsfält. Torsten Larsfält dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vilhelm Strömbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Larsfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Walmarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Douglas Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lillåns FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
