Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lofsdalen BK's Malte Vacker managed to work through Hammar RK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Malte Vacker dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mark Browald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnny Bengtsson went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Malte Vacker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mark Browald. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Torbjörn Hylander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 88 played minutes, Lofsdalen BK's Ted Bergman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mark Browald came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lofsdalen BK reached it. A collision led to Lofsdalen BK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ted Bergman hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Anders Wassenius in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fritz Vester's left hand side. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lofsdalen BK's goalkeeper Fritz Vester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lofsdalen BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hammar RK for a fine match.
