Sven-Oskar Dahlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Joacim Tolsson made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Sven-Oskar Dahlberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kilafors's Joacim Tolsson. Joacim Tolsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19thth minute of the game Hans Lundhberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holsbybrunn IF's Olle Bäckman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven-Oskar Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joacim Tolsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Tolsson having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Kent Magnusson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olle Bäckman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Lundhberg in the 28th minute of the match. Olle Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Lundhberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Kilafors's Joacim Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Dahlberg in the 36th minute of play. Olle Bäckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Gummeson in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Sten Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joacim Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Joacim Tolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kilafors getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Emil Hallgren hit a great ball. Holsbybrunn IF's Olle Bäckman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Holsbybrunn IF from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Kilafors's zone, Sven-Oskar Dahlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim Tolsson came out of the goal and Sven-Oskar Dahlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Olof Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Peter Nyman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kilafors's Joacim Tolsson didn't even have to move. Hans Lundhberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Olle Bäckman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timmy Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Olle Bäckman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilafors. Kent Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Joacim Tolsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Holsbybrunn IF's Sven-Oskar Dahlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joacim Tolsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kilafors's zone, Kent Magnusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim Tolsson came out of the goal and Kent Magnusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kilafors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Holsbybrunn IF.
