The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Billy Nordal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The attack was good, but when Uno Linberg in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 9th minute of the match Georg Eriksson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Billy Nordal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Magnus Alströmmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Uno Linberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uno Linberg in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billy Nordal saved Knivsta RK from getting behind. Uno Linberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Billy Nordal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbani IF's Uno Linberg got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billy Nordal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Urbani IF's Uno Linberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 44 minutes into the match, Magnus Alströmmer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Urbani IF's Gustav Dahlkvist. Gustav Dahlkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uno Linberg was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Urbani IF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Östen Glanselius hit a great ball. Gustav Dahlkvist was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Viggo Ahlquist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Viggo Ahlquist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 68 minutes into the match, Urbani IF's Georg Blomquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billy Nordal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Knivsta RK's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Linberg came free, but Billy Nordal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Nordal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Åke Odeen in the 73rd minute of the match. When Georg Blomquist came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Urbani IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Blomquist couldn't finish the play. Uno Linberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Billy Nordal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Börje Torsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Uno Linberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbani IF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
