Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulf Nykvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Ulf Nykvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tomas Kjellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Blixt in the 14th minute of play. Tomas Kjellman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Blixt's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When Hugo Säfström came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Åkersberga IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Säfström couldn't finish the play. Emil Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Kjellman having to interfere. Hugo Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulf Nykvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Åkersberga IFK's goalkeeper Gunnar Örtendahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulf Nykvist made a kick off. Hugo Säfström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Kjellman having to interfere. Enskededalen BK's Tomas Kjellman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Enskededalen BK from getting a goal against them. Jan-Åke Isaksson's late challenge caught a Åkersberga IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Åke Isaksson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Enskededalen BK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jan-Åke Isaksson hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Enskededalen BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Emil Blixt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Ulf Nykvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Örtendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emil Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Åkersberga IFK fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Åkersberga IFK's Hugo Säfström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Enskededalen BK defense, Hugo Säfström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Kjellman. The Enskededalen BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Kjellman should have stopped the shot. If Hugo Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Enskededalen BK booed when Åkersberga IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Örtendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Nykvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
