Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils Ekeberg started the match with the kick off. Vidar Bergsten kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Skröder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Gunnarsson in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Marko Melander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uno Säf. Alstermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marko Melander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, one of Alstermo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Torbjörn Strömberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jan Termander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uno Säf. Alstermo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 29 played minutes FC Atwood got a freekick which was hit by Anton Rydelius. Måns Wickander was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Holmstedt got free with Bengt-Rune Skröder in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Melander in the 39th minute of play forced Alstermo's goalkeeper Uno Säf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Rune Skröder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Anthon Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. FC Atwood were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Alstermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Viggo Gummeson took the corner. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gert Abrahamsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Uno Säf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anthon Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Gert Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Skröder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, FC Atwood's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Abrahamsson came free, but Bengt-Rune Skröder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uno Säf was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils Ekeberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 65 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, FC Atwood's goal looked a bit too open when David Holmstedt came free, but Bengt-Rune Skröder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aleksander Kilström fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Atwood's protests and gave Aleksander Kilström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Atwood getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aleksander Kilström hit a great ball. Gert Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bengt-Rune Skröder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Anthon Gunnarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alstermo and the FC Atwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Anthon Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, FC Atwood's Viggo Gummeson tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Måns Wickander hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute Nils Ekeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Säf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Atwood supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Atwood would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
