Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) FC Internazionale Milano's Holger Stephansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save FC Internazionale Milano from getting a goal against them. If Aron Sellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, FC Internazionale Milano's Aron Sellberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathias Jonasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathias Bergsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agne Fagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Stephansson having to interfere. If Mathias Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Internazionale Milano's Aron Sellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludwig Kullander's late challenge caught a Vätö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Kullander helped the player get up and apologised. Sigvard Lilja spun around in front of the goal 36 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Internazionale Milano's goal. Vätö's Mathias Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Sellberg in the 42nd minute of play. The goalkeeper, Holger Stephansson, was totally fooled by Vätö's Mattias Lund, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
After having played for 54 minutes, Mathias Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Internazionale Milano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Bergsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, FC Internazionale Milano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Uter to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Mattias Lund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Holger Stephansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th match minute, FC Internazionale Milano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Kullander to maneuver through the defense. If Sigvard Lilja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Stephansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Lilja in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Internazionale Milano's Adrian Strömberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Agne Fagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vätö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Fagerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 played minutes FC Internazionale Milano got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Dahlquist. Agne Fagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Stephansson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Lilja in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Stephansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sigvard Lilja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Stephansson having to interfere. FC Internazionale Milano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
