Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivar Vollander started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henning Ahlroth in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Mickelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrik Ström hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Ahlroth in the 13th minute of play forced Filipstad's goalkeeper Isaac Mickelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Henning Ahlroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Nora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Ahlroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Henning Ahlroth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Mickelsson was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The supporters of FK Nora FC booed when Filipstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipstad's Isaac Mickelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Ahlroth in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Kämpe got free with Jonny Simonsson in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th match minute, FK Nora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Hedin to maneuver through the defense. If Jan Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FK Nora FC's Jonny Simonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Vollander in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Kämpe during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Filipstad's Boris Kämpe got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Boris Kämpe came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Filipstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Kämpe couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FK Nora FC's Evert Hultstrand shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isaac Mickelsson but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Holger Eliasson during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 71 minutes into the match, Filipstad's Ivar Vollander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonny Simonsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pontus Telin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Isaac Mickelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Hedin in the 79th minute of play. Henning Ahlroth took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Mickelsson. Isaac Mickelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Henning Ahlroth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Isaac Mickelsson made a huge save.
