The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ingvar Lind struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Sven-Åke Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urshult. After a defensive mix-up in Hakkas IF's zone, Ingvar Lind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Åke Nyman came out of the goal and Ingvar Lind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Koch's late challenge caught a Hakkas IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper Koch helped the player get up and apologised. 12 minutes into the match, Urshult's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Unesson came free, but Erik Åkerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingvar Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sven-Åke Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Fogel's late challenge caught a Urshult's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Fogel helped the player get up and apologised. If Ingvar Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Kurt Fribäck in the 22ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sven-Åke Nyman had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Hakkas IF's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Fribäck. Hakkas IF's Sven-Åke Nyman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Hakkas IF from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Urshult's Ingvar Lind dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sven-Åke Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With his leg Sven-Åke Nyman managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Urshult's Kurt Fribäck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peter Unesson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Erik Åkerman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hakkas IF. Kurt Fribäck scored 2-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Åke Nyman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Unesson made a kick off. In the 54th minute Ingvar Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Åke Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Fribäck in the 60th minute of play. Rikard Östlund struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Erik Åkerman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hakkas IF. Erik Åkerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Unesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Urshult's Casper Koch got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sven-Åke Nyman came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Urshult's Kurt Fribäck. But to his dismay, Kurt Fribäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Lind during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ingvar Lind hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Ingvar Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Urshult's goalkeeper Erik Åkerman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rikard Östlund. Georg Fogel got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Urshult booed when Hakkas IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Fogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Sven-Åke Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Urshult had played much better football throughout.
